Dreams...

I have recently had a reoccuring dream about my ex-fiance(we have not been together since 2005). The first three dreams I was avoiding him and trying to leave before he saw me. He also looked like he was in bad shape and dirty. Last night I had another dream about him. This time he was soft, stable and clean. I avoided him but this time he saw me and followed me to the house I was staying at(not my own, not sure who it belonged to). He knocked on the door and I told the people inside not to answer it. He had 2 other people with him trying to help him find a way in. He finally came in but he was running towards me and he looked like he wanted to hurt me. I pushed him and we both fell backwards. We were both crying and he told me he could never hurt me. Then he hugged and kissed me. He couldn't wait to tell everyone that we were back together. The rest of the dream we were like a family and he was calm, peaceful and content and he continued to hug and kiss me. (he was never been calm and peaceful because he had a lot of childhood traumas that he never healed from) my dream was very strange. What do you think this means? Again we haven't been together since 2005 and the las time I talked to him since 2006. This was just a week of random dreams about him. If anyone has any suggestion on interpretation, please let me know.
