Psychic vampire

A couple of days ago I had a rather frightening experience. I was sitting with my friend in his flat, when a knock came at the door. He answered it and a friend was there who he rarely sees. His friend sat down on the sofa and turned to look at me. The moment he did, I was struck by how awful his energies felt. He had eyes which seemed far too vacant for my liking and after that point he almost refused to make eye contact with me and did not speak to me at all. After about ten minutes I became very hungry despite having just eaten. I had something to eat but found myself physically exhausted. I fell asleep and my friend found it rather hard to wake me.

As I was dropping off after the third or fourth time I was woken, I got the distinct impression of my energy heading towards this visitor and I realised that he was siphoning off my energies.

I have come across psychic vampires a couple of times before, but none of them had ever drained me to such an awful extent that I got so tired so quickly. I tried to protect myself but kept falling asleep. So, I did the only thing I had left to do - I prayed. And I prayed. And I prayed. Eventually, after about ten minutes I found I could stay awake, which was quite nice. It wasn't until he left however, that I could return to my normal, bouncy self.

I have been trying to work out what to make of this for the past couple of days. I also want to avoid seeing him again at all costs, but I am not sure how to explain to my friend that his friend is a vampire. My friend is aware of my gifts, but I am afraid it might annoy him if I tell him I can't be around one of his friends.

At the moment, I'm just hoping he sees his friend as rarely as he says he does. I really don't want to find myself in that situation again.
