Golden Silence

Silence is golden
Alone is alone then
Fairy tales come true
But not for me and you

I tried so hard to explain
How to face your own pain
And leave ghostly ghettos behind
Not haunting the meadows of your mind

Oh, how you surprised me
When you compromised me
You just couldn't play fair
And you took to the air

But there were no goodbyes
And I guess everyone dies
We were never meant to be
God, it should have been me

How summer is flowing
With green grasses growing
Dewey tears they do weep
On the ground where you sleep.

Now evening is falling
My future still calling
The setting sun shadows your name
And I, in golden silence, remain
