Objection, Appeal, Ruling, Transcendence
This is a poem written in four parts. "Objection" is written from a woman's perspective upon her rejection of a dude she's not interested in. "Appeal" is the guy's desperate, last ditch attempt to reason with a "higher court," clearly hoping for a sympathetic judge. But he should've hired Johnny Cochran.
Is "Ruling" the "end of the road" for he who has failed to win over her heart? The answers lie in the final piece, "Trancendence." Unable to find meaning in external relationships and forced to look inward, he discovers that his unnecessary suffering was based on untrue thoughts about himself in the past.
He has awakened and knows that it is up to him to decide on and then create and manifest the future he envisions for himself. The first and last pieces are written in the exact same form to symbolize his being in harmony and balance with all things, as he has accepted and understood that her decision at the time was indeed best for all.

Objection
I object
To being
The object
Of your
Desire
Get a clue
Or else
I'll feed
You to the
Fire
Yes I
Know that
Your feelings
Are for
Real
But in
This matter
I will
Allow no
Appeal
And yes
I know
This cuts
Like a
Knife
But I
Suggest you
Move on
With your
Life
For in
The end
You might
Very well
See
That maybe
You weren't
Really in
Love with
Me
Appeal
Your honor
May I approach
The bench?
How could she
My heart
So swiftly steal
And not
Expect me
To appeal
Her decision
To not consider
The possibility
That in time
She might see
Things differently?
Stop and
Think just how
I'll appear
Right about now
This time
Next year
She should
Know better
Than they
How things
Can change from
Day to day
She's practically
Hardwired into
My brain
Between my heart
And her hand is
An unbreakable chain
But just like
The great
Bob Marley sang
"I don't wanna
Wait in vain
For (her) love."
Ruling
In the matter of
The People Vs. Dan:
He is charged with
"High treason against
The realities of Man."
As Chief Justice of the
Highest court in the land
It thereby befalls me
To state where I stand .
The other six Justices are
Deadlocked at three and three
So it seems the deciding vote
Shall come down to me.
The opinion of this Court
Will be just and fair and
May never be challenged
As we do not err.
We find the Defendant
Guilty in the first degree
Take him out, lock him up
And throw away the key!
Your goose is cooked
And your fate so sealed
This court has heard
Your final appeal.
Transcendence
I transcend
Your laws
And your
Judgement as
Well
Don't think
I haven't
Spent some
Time in
Hell
Ask for
The clarity
To seek
And you'll
Find
The only
Real prisons
Are those
Of your
Mind
"The Reality
Of Man"
Are the
Results at
Last
Brought into
Being by
The thoughts
Of your
Past
All we
Need do
Is focus
Energy and
Thought
And soon
see anew
All that
We have
Wrought
