Will you please Pray for my 10 year old friend Jorye who died on May 24, 2008

Last night my good friend Jorye died after a courageous journey with cancer. He was 10 years old. He was diagnosed with bone cancer four years ago and as a result had his left leg amputated above the knee. He also underwent significant chemotherapy and radiation treatment. He had only been one month into his maintenance treatment after the aggressive treatment for his bone cancer when he was diagnosed with leukemia. It is believed that he developed leukemia as a result of the treatment that he had to have for the bone cancer.

His only hope for survival was a bone marrow transplant. Fortunately a match was found and he was scheduled to have the transplant next week. Unfortunately the doctors were unable to get the leukemia under control enough in order to do the transplant and he died last night.

Jorye was a good friend to my children and me. He was a very intelligent, intuitive and witty fellow much wiser than his years. He was a very peaceful child. Through all of the torture his body went through over the last four years I never heard him utter a word of complaint. Some days when he was feeling very sick from the cancer and the treatments he was quiet and didn't want to socialize.. but he never complained. Most of the time he was an active and energetic boy who loved to laugh. Regardless of what was happening to him he always was willing to lend a hand to be helpful to others and was a great source of compassion for others who were suffering around him.

Jorye needs all of our prayers now as he is now in a crucial state in his conscious life. He is making the transition from the physical realm into the realm of light consciousness. He has a grand opportunity to merge with the light consciousness and attain enlightenment. He is likely to be confused and perhaps scared about what is happening to him. The opening for the merging with the light consciousness is at its peak during this time. I am posting this here so that anyone who reads it might hold Jorye in their prayers, talk to him and let him know he is okay; essentially, please coach him in his journey to enlightenment and the bliss of merging with pure light consciousness.
