Ascension

Sometimes we need to just stop,
Take a step back and look with our inner eye,
at the fabric of the universe around us.

Sometimes we have to just pause,
take a breather, relax,
and view everything from an objective viewpoint.

Sometimes we need to walk through a door,
in order to live,
in order to be free.

Sometimes we have to unfold the layers,
in order to be re-born,
in a different form.

Sometimes we need to be crucified,
in order to rise again,
and begin our ascension.
