I found this poem to be very inspirational. I had wondered at one time if life on Earth was a punishment, a curse because of all the bad things I would see people endure. I no longer think of it in that way. Wherever there is bad, there is good. Life is what we make of it and how we choose to see it. Enjoy!

THE ROSE

And upon a day, while walking among

I thought I saw your face in the clouds today
It was just my imagination again, I pray
It's been a while since I heard your voice
The last time you said goodbye, you gave me a choice
If I had to do it all over I would choose again
That in my life I would want you in
Together forever we would always be
Two flames burning side by side for eternity
I wanted your friendship at the very least

Here is another poem from me. They are not great literature, but it's how I express my feelings.......:)

When you have fallen on troubled times
I will pick you up
When you feel you have lost your way
I will guide you
When you are tired and sick
I will heal you
When you are sad and lonely
I will comfort you
When you are left out in the cold
I will shelter you
Don't ever lose hope

Soon I will be moving from SC to AZ to be closer to my family. It is time to reconnect with them. I wanted to move back to Florida, but as much as a desired to go, something was holding me back. Perhaps my own consciousness knew it was not right. As soon as I decided to go to AZ, a weight lifted off of me, I felt freer and it made sense.

Two souls on a journey
Yearn to find each other
Transcending time and space
They search
Over and over again
They will never stop
They are not complete
Without each other
They so long to be together
It overwhelms their hearts
With desire.......
Don't stop
Don't give up
You are meant to be together
Until the end of time.

Sounds in the silence
Flow through waves on the ocean
Break on the shore of my body and soul
It vibrates like the thunder
Sparks just like the lightning
Raining on me like an electrical storm
Listen to it
Experience it
Feel open to it
Bring it in from the outside
Don't be afraid of the rhythm
It's just the beat of our hearts together
Pounding like a big bass drum
