Healing Our Wounds

We have all been hurt. Its part of this wonderful journey - without the contrast of fear, sadness, pain and all those kinds of emotions, we wouldn't understand love and joy. BUT we don't have to continue sufferring through the same hurts and pains, nor do we have to re-live our pains to heal.

The most healthy and convenient thing to do when you have been hurt is to forgive, whether you need to forgive yourself, or someone else, just do it! Think of something that has hurt you. If you cannot understand why, then move on to this - we don't HAVE to understand WHY we or they did that hurtful thing to forgive ourselves or them. Let go. It's over, finished, its not in this moment. It is gone. Visualise all the black spots and scars on your heart and soul dissolving. They are sucked down and out through your feet.

Focus your attention on what you want. What makes you happy? When do you feel most at peace? Take the time to do this. It may seem selfish (as much as I disagree with the stigmas attached to this word, I need to use it here), but when you're finished, completely at peace and full of love, you will be like a cup of personified love brimming over into everyone around you! ;)

More soon, I'm losing focus here...
