A sermon from Melissa - an experience of hope. A plea to act.
Posted August 21st, 2008 by BeebalmHello Friends and Family,
I received this little video from my friend, Carol. After watching it, I wanted to share it with you.
Most of you know that I've been 'somewhat' fascinated to understand just what humanity 'is', where we've come from, and why we're here on this earth.

How like a horse am I
Posted October 26th, 2007 by BeebalmOne of my journal writing friends asked us to:
Using the technique of metaphor, "How are you like a garden, a flower, the sea, a favorite animal, a book...you name it." Below is my response. I'd love to hear what your personal 'metaphor' is.
How Like A Horse Am I –
Such a week it's been
Posted August 16th, 2007 by BeebalmIt's been a whirlwind of a week! I've been to a wedding - taken a last-minute trip back up to Mt Shasta to hear David Icke speak at the College of the Siskiyou's, met my brother's girlfriend - now fiance - and her two children, signed another book contract, and am now getting ready for a six week trip to the Colordo horse country.
What I learned:
It is possible to find love at any age! Bride and Groom were absolutely beautiful, a testimony to healthy living, and well over 50!
Today's offering. Response to Ane's poem

From the places where the fairies spoke us
from the orbs of buttered buns,
from the place of wood fern bending
we've awoke to star and sun.
Magic is and was beginning,
innocence, if left, does shine.
No one to calls to make an ending,
to our ties with the Divine.
Then our blood tides fall within us,
opening up an inner wall;
Sex the teacher, tyrant, master,
power to heal and power of 'fall.'
Some thoughts on 'Christ' - from a less-than-enthuiastic POV
Posted August 10th, 2007 by BeebalmJeshua ben Josef was a Jew. Therefore his ideas, the behaviors he expressed are Jewish – for the most part. In Judaism there is a practice called Tikkun O’lam. In the ancient book called the Zohar, written in Aramaic, is an account of G*d’s first entry into a 3D world. The vessel made to hold G*d’s essence, It’s Holy Fire, shattered and flew about the entire spectrum of creation. It is believed that those sparks reside in each and every form of creation. The practice of Tikkun O’lam is the gathering of those sparks - for until they are all reunited, Gan Eden cannot be recreated.
Kabbalah musings. Thinking about Netzach
Posted August 9th, 2007 by BeebalmDon't believe this calendar time - in my time it's Thursday afternoon, August 9, 2007
I guess I've started something with this daily blog. Do I keep it up, let it go. Well for now I'm considering it my daily pages and seeing if any of the ideas are worth keeping. Read them at your own risk - I'm not editing anything!
Let's see...Netzach. My favorite little spheirot. It's parked between Hod - the Splendor of Life and Ti'ferret- the heart of integration.
Call Me By My True Names
Posted August 8th, 2007 by BeebalmFor well over 30 years, Thich Nhat Hanh has been my teacher, friend, and inspiration. His life is Peace. His words change you. They changed me. When you can truly 'eat' this poem, the third dimension becomes your refuge. For those unfamiliar with his work, I offer his poem. I worked with this daily for over 20 years, for me, this work embodies the mystery of our dimension.
PLEASE CALL ME BY MY TRUE NAMES

Posted August 7th, 2007 by BeebalmOK - I'm entering the 21st century and starting to BLOG. sigh.
I'm not new to the internet - my first e-mail address ended in "nasa.gov" back in 1990. I've run two IT start-ups; one IPO's the other tanked. Now that's a story for another life! But putting myself out on-line - well, hummmm. I can say anything within reason? What's reason to the reasoner - a justification to act.
Act up, act out, act in a role, on a roll, jamming. All familiar ways of being, I do live in Berkeley after all.
