A friend back in NYC asked me if she could forward the short stories I write and send her on email to her cousin in Texas
Of course I was thrilled, to have someone else read my stories
I had written one two days ago which I had not posted on by Google Blog, because it was about a friendship which was not working for me
Every contact I had with her drove me nuts

“A new start in more ways than one”

Today is a lovely morning. It is starting to dry up. Finally! Monsoon season is coming to an end. Thank God. Everything will be easier if we have drier air. It means the nights will cool down again. It means the house won’t be filled with bugs biting you. And the heat won’t burn. Also spirits rise when the air is not heavy dense and hot.

Annie went back to her political site last evening, she hadn’t been there for a week. It is a new political site for her, and her preoccupation was how to beat the block. She has been invisible all the previous times she posted there, and expected to go right on being invisible. Which is why she was stunned when someone posted to her “Lulu, you are a total idiot. You have killed this thread. You don’t know anything . Get off this site.”

Annie did not want to Blog with me this morning because she has no particular anxiety she wants relief from, and she thinks “what’s to say now about anything?” There is a mild dullness in her mind this morning. So I am going to pull a topic out of the air and talk about it with her. I think I will talk about this forum.

"Mellow Morning"

Annie woke up this morning so spaced and out of it and fuzzy and "under the weather" that I suggested I communicate something to help her relax, and believe all is well.

Yes there was a huge storm on the desert last evening, lots of lightning and thunder, not so much rain. And yes she stayed up late to watch "The Sopranos", and got completely caught up in it.

"What to do?"

I hadn’t planned to do a communication with Annie for her blog today, but she likes to know what is going on. Unless she is doing something (writing a short story, editing a story, answering email, or responding to posts on a forum) she doesn’t know what she is doing. And she doesn’t know what she should be doing. When she is in her bedroom, it is OK, because then she either reads a library book or watches TV. But when she is at her computer in the morning, she thinks she should be doing something.

Republican Party Bar B Q Today

Annie belongs to a Ron Paul Meet Up Group in Tucson, but she has not shown up for any physical meetings yet, just been on net with them. The Republican Party is giving a shindig today, a bar b q, at a ranch, and they invited the whole Ron Paul Meet Up group to come. So Annie asked me "do you want me to go?" And I said "yes."
