Dance of Wolves –
The last Pow Wow I went to I shared a place in a field with an on looking wolf. I was camping out in my truck and standing outside admiring the full moon, listening to the distant drumming of the tribes in Temecula, California. My eyes descended down from the heavens onto a handsome wolf watching me watch the sky. He was only a few yards away and seemed to know how I love the night. Maybe we shared our interest of the spirit world and he was telling me there is much more to it than I could ever imagine.

Curiosity did kill this cat. A large mountain lion found March 2, 2007 up on Sunrise Mountain. I couldn't believe the difference in weather up there from down in San Diego - I loved every minute of it especially finding this skeleton - the head was missing so it was bigger then me. Just a few yards from this was a large log with bob cat prints going into it.If you look close, you can see the log in the upper left hand corner of the picture. The thrill of his nearby presence was invigorating. I had a dream that night that the bob cat killed the old cougar and feed off the meat for many days. The cougar’s spirit was free and happy running through the forest and delighted that he contributed to another life.
