Reality is what we take to be true. What we take to be true is what we believe. What we believe is based upon our perceptions. What we perceive depends upon what we look for. What we look for depends upon what we think. What we think depends upon what we perceive. What we perceive determines what we believe. What we believe determines what we take to be true. What we take to be true is our reality...
Emotions reflect intentions. Therefore, awareness of emotions leads to awareness of intentions. Every discrepancy between a conscious intention and the emotions that accompany it, points directly to a splintered aspect of the self that requires healing... The challenge is to believe in your dreams in the center of illusion… When your sense of self-worth exceeds your conditions, conditions will shift to match your vision... Human misery is often caused not so much by stupidity as by ignorance, particularly our own ignorance about ourself… The world is but a canvas to our imagination… People who do not need to please are irresistible because they radiate wholenss, a rare delicacy in the world of hungry hearts… The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, worry about the future, anticipate troubles but to live in the present moment wisely and hearnestly… Again and again, the impossible problem is solved when we see that the problem is only a tough decision waiting to be made… If you are going through hell, keep going… Neither a wise man nor a brave man lies down on the tracks of history to wait for the train of the future to run over him… Any fool can criticize, condemn, and complain -- and most fools do… Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goal… History will be kind to me, for I intend to write it… Seek not that the things which happen should happen as you wish; but wish the things which happen to be as they are, and you will have a tranquil flow of life… One of the most effectual ways of pleasing and of making one's self loved is to be cheerful; joy softens more hearts than tears do… Love is as much of an object as an obsession, everybody wants it, everybody seeks it, but few ever achieve it, those who do will cherish it, be lost in it, and among all, never... never forget it… Love transforms; it simultaneously makes us larger and limits our possibilities. Things turn out the best for the people who make the best of the way things turn out... The universe is like a safe to which there is a combination. But the combination is locked up in the safe... Some actions leave us free and some actions make us free... The best way to make your dreams come true is to wake up... The Important thing is this: to be able at any moment to sacrifice what we are; For what we could become... How you think about a problem is more important than the problem itself. So always think positively... Life lived for tomorrow will always be just a day away from being realized... Learn how to be happy with what you have while you pursue all that you want... Let us be grateful to people who make us happy, they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom... Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, a honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential of turning a life around... There is no end to the adventures we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open... A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step... Like all great people, I have seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen... It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it... It has been my experience that folks who have no vices have very few virtues... He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would suffice... Become a possibilitarian. No matter how dark things seem to be or actually are, raise your sights and see possibilities–always see them, for they are always there... Einstein does not remain attached to the classical principles, and when presented with a problem in physics he quickly envisages all of its possibilities. This leads immediately in his mind to the prediction of new phenomena which may one day be verified by experiment... In the hopes of reaching the moon men fail to see the flowers that blossom at their feet... The chances are that you have already come to believe that happiness is unattainable. But men have attained it. And they have attained it by realising that happiness does not spring from the procuring of physical or mental pleasure, but from the development of reason and the adjustment of conduct to principles... Imagination is more important than knowledge... To comprehend a man's life, it is necessary to know not merely what he does but also what he purposely leaves undone. There is a limit to the work that can be got out of a human body or a human brain, and he is a wise man who wastes no energy on pursuits for which he is not fitted; and he is till wiser who, from among the things that he can do well, chooses and resolutely follows the best... I had an immense advantage over many others dealing with the problem in as much as I had no fixed ideas derived from long-established practice to control and bias my mind, and did not suffer from the general belief that whatever is, is right... I can take the next thing that comes along." You must do the thing you think you cannot do... Wear your scars like metals of hope... When you walk to the edge of all the light you have And you take the first step into the darkness of the unknow You must believe that one of two things will happen There will be something solid for you to stand upon or you will be taught to fly Be kind. Remember, everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle... Enjoy your own life without comparing it with that of another... You can't change the direction of the wind, but you can adjust your sails to always reach your destination... Perservance is not a long race; it is many short races one after another... Love is perhaps the only glimpse we are permitted of eternity... Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. So love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who don't and believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it... Closed minds should come with closed mouths... Success is not measured by what you accomplish, but by the opposition you have encountered, and the courage with which you have maintained the struggle against overwhelming odds... Live today like it's your last, for yesterday is in the past and tomorrow may never come... Stand up for what you believe is right, even if you're standing alone... The only person worth your tears is the one who won't make you cry... Sometimes we must get hurt in order to grow, we must fall in order to know. Sometimes our visions clear only after our eyes have been washed away from tears... God always answers your prayers, you just have to be patient and listen.... When one door of happiness closes, another opens, but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us... Heaven never helps the man who will not act... Follow the magic in your heart. It's the inspiration for your life. Cherish each precious moment... You'll never leave where you are untill you decide where you'd rather be... A wise man will make more opportunities than he finds... Everybody deserves to be told they're beautiful, even if they're "not"... People want love because it's the closest thing we have to magic... After the game, the king and the pawn go into the same box... If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put foundations under them... Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail... Be true to yourself and follow your heart... Some day you will find the place, it's the place where love takes over hate... Everyone's a star and deserves the ability to twinkle... In life you cant get all caught up in wishing for something that surely won't happen... The more painful it is, tragically, the more you do learn, though, that's the good part... God Consciousness is what we are here for (on earth). It's the unfinished business we have left... Within us lies the basic philosophy of the Society, namely: Life is a long journey of discovery, wherein each person must meet - and love - themselves, overcome their own fears and learn the truth about loving. It is a process of perfecting the innate, God-given beauty of the Soul... We don't know why we come here, but we know we'll never leave. This is the only place we want to be... Live with intention. Walk the edge. Listen hard. Practice wellness. Play with abandonment. Laugh. Choose with no regret. Continue to learn. Appriciate your friends. Do what you love... Live as if this is all there is... Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways totally worn out and shouting HOLY SHIT WHAT A RIDE! ... Sometimes we need to stop analyzing the past, stop planning the future, stop trying to figure out precisely how we feel and stop deciding with our mind what we want our heart to feel. Sometimes we just have to go with, "Whatever Happens - Happens"... Hate all you want, but you can't brake the person who thinks nothing of you... The only thing in life you might regret are the risks you didn't take... Every woman should have four pets in her life. A fake mink in the closet, a Jaguar in the garage, a tiger in the bed and a jackass who pays for it all... But if you look at us closely you will see it in our eyes. We will always find our way... You can't be old and wise if you were never young and crazy... How wrong we are to think that immortality means never dying... Sometimes people put up walls not to keep others out, but to see who cares enough to tear them down... Love is giving someone the power to brake your heart, but trusting them not to... The best things in life are always unseen. That's why we close our eyes when we kiss, cry and dream... It's better to be hated for what you are than loved for what you are not... Most drunken words are sober thoughts... Laugh when you can, apologize when you sould and let go of what you can't change. kiss slowly, play hard, forgive quickly, take chances while giving everything and have no regrets. Life's too short to be anything but happy... Dance as if no one is watching you. Love as though you have never been hurt before. Sing as though no one can hear you. Live as thought heaven is on earth... Who are you the judge the way we live? We know we're not perfect and we don't try to be. But before you start pointing fingers, make sure youre own hands are clean... They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them, but then an entire life time to forget them... A kiss is just a kiss untill you find the one you love. A hug is just a hug till it's the one you're thinking of. A dream is just a dream till you make it come ture. Love is just a word till it's proven to you... Obstacles are put in your way to see if what you want is really worth fighting for... Waste time with your friends. Live for the moment. Do any and everything. If it's something you'll regret in the morning, sleep late and when you wake up be sure to laugh about it with your friends. Sometimes friends are all we have... Be wild. Be crazy. Be funny. Be stupid because life's too short to be cool... If you think about it, the only person you truely have in life is yourself... Life's to precious to worry about stupid shit, so have fun, get drunk and fall in love. Say what you want to say and do what you want to do. Regret nothing and don't let the people who don't matter bring you down... Life's not about finding yourself, it's about creating yourself... In order to change we must be sick and tired of being sick and tired... We believe in God when he helps to solve our difficulties. But when he doesn't, he may be believing in you... God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference... Fall in love or fall in hate. Get inspired or be depressed. Ace a test or flunk a class. Make babies or make art. Speak the truth or lie and cheat. Dance on tables or sit in the corner. Life is devine chaos. Embrace it. Forgive yourself. Breathe. And, enjoy the ride. Some women aren't meant to be tamed. Maybe they just need to run free til they find someone just as wild to run with them. Maybe mistakes are what make our fate... without them what would shape our lives? Maybe if we had never veered off course we wouldn't fall in love, have babies, or be who we are. After all, things change, people come into your life and they go. But it's comforting to know that the ones you love are always in your heart. When you're young, your whole life is about the pursuit of fun. Then, you grow up and learn to be cautious. You could break a bone or a heart. You look before you leap and sometimes you don't leap at all because there's not always someone there to catch you. And in life, there's no safety net. When did it stop being fun and start being scary? The best love is the kind that awakens the soul and makes you reach for more... You don't need to know everything in life, just the things you need to be happy... Sometimes not all lovers and friends are worth your time. There's a point in your life when you get tired of chasing everyone and trying to fix everytrhing, but it's not giving up. It's realizing that you don't need certain people, the bullshit and the drama they bring... You do your thing and others will do theirs. You are not in this world to live up to others expectations, only your own... We want to run with the reckless emotion to find out if love is the size of an ocean. Even if we crash and burn out, at least we're going to know what it's like to feel alive... People betray us. That doesn't mean we hold no worth. It means they were too selfish to see our worth... In the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world... Don't try to rush fate. The best things come to those who wait... The strongest force in the world is genuine and everlasting commitment... Be kind for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle... Fall seven times, stand up eight... Forget the risk and take the fall. If it's meant to be, then it's worth it all... Learn to write your hurts in the sand and to carve your benefits in stone... One of the best proofs of love is trust... Kindness in words creates confidence. Kindness in thinking creates profoundness. Kindness in giving creates love... Aspire to climb as high as you can dream... If today was perfect there would be no need for tomorrow... Be too positive to be doubtful, too optimistic to be fearful and too determinded to be defeated... It takes an extraordinay person to stand in the face of danger and maintain composure. Where do you stand... You have to live your life not caring and shake off the drama just to prove that you're better than they are... To accomplish great things we must not only act but also dream: Not only plan, but also believe... Shoot for the moon! Even if you miss, you will land amoung the stars... Never frown because you never know who is falling in love with your smile... A candle loses nothing by lighting another candle... A stumble may prevent a fall... Do not value the things you have in your life, value who you have in your life... It's better to have loved and lost then to live with a psycho for the rest of your life... Touch isn't the only way of feeling... Maybe it's true - maybe we don't know what we have until we've lost it, but maybe it's also true that we don't know what we're missing until we find it... Courage does not always roar. Sometimes courage is the quite voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow."... Happiness is like a butterfly. The more you chase it, the more it will elude you. But if you turn your attention to other things, it will come and sit softly on your shoulder... The shit you hear about you could be true, then again, it could be as fake as the person who told you... Most people too weak to follow their own dreams will always find a way to discourage yours... We've grown stronger because that's what every step has given us. Life's complicated, but those complications made us... Unless it's mad, passionate, extraordinay love, it's probably a waste of your time. There are too many mediocre things in live. Love shouldn't be one of them... The best feelings are those that have no words to describe them... You can not teach a man something, you can only help him find it... Hate never ends hate, only love can... You are a child of the universe, no less than the moon and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should... Do not fear death as much, rather the inadequate life... Too bad ignorance isn't painful... The only consistency in life is change... Sometimes being an adult is exactly what you imagined itwould be when you were five; staying up late and eating lucky charms after dinner... Love is not in finding that perfect person. It is in learning to love an imperfect person... If you would be a real seeker after thruth, it isnecessary that at lease once in your life you doubt, as far as possible, all things... Believe nothing because it is writen in books. Believe nothing because wise men say it is so. Believe nothing becasue it is a religious requirement. Believe it only because you yourself know it to be true... The heart has it's reasons, which reason does not understand... We've wanted to change the world, but found that the only thing we can be sure of changing is ourselves... All you need is love... Forget regret or life is your's to miss... Don't lose out on the love of your life. One day you may wake up and realize how much you cared for that person and when that day comes, that special someone will be waking up next to the person who already knew... What lies behind us and what lies before us are small matters compared to what lies within us... We were given two hands to hold, two legs to walk, two eyes to see, two ears to listen, buy why only one heart? The other one was given to someone for us to find... We're all a little selfish, impatient, and a little insecure. We make mistakes, are out of control, and at times we're all hard to handle. If someone can't handle you at your worst, then they sure as hell don't deserve you at your best... Just when you think things can't get any worse, they do. Life is like an hourglass. Sooner or later, everything hits rock bottom. All you have to do is be patient and maybe wait for someone to turn everything back around... Nothing lasts forever, so live it up, drink it down, laugh it off, avoid the bullshit, take chances and never have regrets. At one point everything you did was exactly what you wanted... You know you're in love when you can't fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams... Every story has an end, but in life every end is just a new beginning... All we want is for the love of our life to prove to us that they're not the same as everyone else... Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the number of moments that take our breath away... You, yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection... The thought manifests as the word. The word manifests as the deed. The deed develops into habit. And the habit hardens into character. So watch the thought and its ways with care. And let it spring from love, born out of concern for all beings... A man should first direct himself in the way he should go. Only then should he instruct others... All that we are is the result of what we have thought. If a man speaks or acts with an evil thought, pain follows him. If a man speaks or acts with a pure thought, happiness follows him, like a shadow that never leaves him... Hatred does not cease by hatred, but only by love; this is the eternal rule... It is a man's own mind, not his enemy or foe, that lures him to evil ways... The whole secret of existence is to have no fear. Never fear what will become of you, depend on no one. Only the moment you reject all help are you freed... He is able who thinks he is able... When there's something you want, fight for it. Don't give up - no matter how hopeless it seems, even when you've lost hope, because years from now you're gonna look back and wish you gave it one more shot. The best things in life don't come easy... Better than a thousand hollow words, is one word that brings peace... This Ariyan Eightfold Path, that is to say: Right view, right aim, right speech, right action, right living, right effort, right mindfulness, right contemplation... We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world... You cannot travel the path until you have become the path itself... You will not be punished for your anger, you will be punished by your anger... He who experiences the unity of life sees his own Self in all beings, and all beings in his own Self, and looks on everything with an impartial eye... People who work sitting down get paid more than people who work standing up... Live all you can; it's a mistake not to. It doesn't much matter what you do in particular, so long as you have had your life. If you haven't had that, what have you had... You can discover what your enemy fears most by observing the means he uses to frighten you... Who is more foolish, the child afraid of the dark or the man afraid of the light… Nothing in life is to be feared. It is only to be understood… You are what you are and you are where you are because of what has gone into your mind. You change what you are and you change where you are by changing what goes into your mind… You can get anywhere if you simply go one step at a time… The minute you settle for less than you deserve, you get even less than you settled for… The more you express gratitude for what you have the more you will have to express gratitude for... There are no accidents... there is only some purpose that we haven't yet understood... Love is everywhere, it has no distance. All you have to do is stop the resistance... The past cannot be undone. What you can change is how you feel about it... To forgive is to set a prisoner free and discover that the prisoner was you...

Many of us have fallen for the lure of making purchases on credit so that we can have the life we envision right now. But that is like offering to work for several days without the replenishment of sleep—we may be able to do it for a time, but if we promise ourselves far into the future, we will feel drained and unable to cope. In contrast, if we save up for major outlays of energy, we can enjoy the feeling of having more than we need and not feel drained when we get what we want.
